The holidays can be a challenging time! Although they can be filled with family, fun, and festivities- they can also be triggering, throw us off of our usual schedules, and be overwhelming. Because of this I’ve created this free, one page holiday coping plan.
P.S. This definitely isn’t only for people with eating disorders! Anyone looking to center themselves and have a more mindful, happy holiday season can benefit from this worksheet.
You can download it for yourself HERE– don’t forget to post on FB or IG and tag me @recovroad!
Unlike the journals I’ve released, which you can find HERE and HERE, there’s not a super specific guide to how you should fill this out. You should start with the check in and thinking ahead section but then you can follow to flow or jump around. As always, feel free to make this exercise your own. You can use it as a template in your journal you already have/use, bring it to therapy or use it as a talking point with family, or add your own doodles. The goal is to just get something out of it!
Happy holidays!
